Our
Story

About Zoe Kismet

I was born in Utah and learned early that good ideas don’t wait for coastal zip codes. After honing a guerrilla style on music videos and agency spots in San Diego and Los Angeles—crafting social campaigns for Hi‑Chew, Rimmel, Bio‑Oil, Olaplex, and artists like Snoop Dogg and Trippie Redd—I came home to prove that film talent can thrive anywhere. My short Anemoia premiered on a legendary L.A. screen, but the real test has been building momentum back in Salt Lake City, where I founded Salt Lake Film Club. Four events in (including Reframe, which drew 200 people and 14 brand‑new shorts) and an immersive warehouse takeover called Metamorphosis, we’ve shown that creative community grows wherever you plant it.

Day ‑to‑day I direct, shoot, edit, design, and produce—turning lean crews into polished work when speed matters, or scaling up when the concept calls for more firepower. Film, for me, is a tool for connection; expression is the opposite of depression, and intuition is the best compass on set. Whether it’s a 30‑second brand piece or a multi‑room experience, the goal is the same: make something honest enough to move us and invite others to lean in.
